XXL's new issue has a "making of" article on Raekwons masterpiece album, and its a great article.
This has been one of my fav albums ever for a long time now, but reading this article made me go back and listen to it again. Simply beautiful.
Rae and Ghost do their thing, but the REAL mastermind behind this album was RZA. The production is simply on another level, perhaps the greatest ever on a hip hop album. RZA created a hip hop symphony/musical with this album.
Its in my top 5 albums ever (along with 7 Day Theory, Illmatic, Aquemini, and Doggystyle), and is easily my fav Wu related album.
