so i left the xbox 360 off and disconnected it for the weekend. turned it on today and after about 20 minutes playing Doom the fan started getting really loud again and on came the two red lights again and off it went.

i rang Microsoft and the woman said that it would cost about 100 euros to repair and id have to send it to the US. i just told her that id probably be better off just getting a new one and she said that Microsoft respects whatever decision i make and are there to support me. i feel so loved now. fuck off.

bitch didnt seem to know anything about 2 red light errors either.

I think it's about time you get yourself a PS3 my friend.

I don't think I've used any gun more than the SCAR/M4A1 for ARs and the Barrett 50 Cal for snipers. They've been my Old Faithfuls the past few prestiges.

What prestiges are you guys on now?

3rd Prestige. Everytime I prestige I try and use different guns to mix it up, certain guns are hard to get used to though at first like the Fal. When you master the Fal, people bow down to you.

I actually don't know what prestige I'm on.

I think I'm on my fourth-going-on-fifth prestige, but I can't be too sure since I'm using an old TV and sit far from it when I play. Put it's red, with the symbol in it and I have 7 custom classes, I know those add on after a while.

68 right now. Anyone wanna go with me to my next prestige tonight? Chem test at 9:45 tomorrow, but I think I'm fucked for that so why not?

Im level 70 2nd Prestige. Just don't see the point of doing it over and over again though lol.

Yeah, it's just to add depth to game. I think I got better at the game because of it. Forces me to make do with the intro. weapons and eventually master the better ones. But it is a bit silly.

im on the first prestige lvl 62 i think. only time i prestige is when i get bored. started playing again this week. im using the ump and m4a1 now. m16 taking a backseat.

It sucks when you start over with zero weapons but your prestige is higher so you're playing with like.. 10th prestige level 70'ers who have an orgasm every time they get a headshot.. and here you are running around with the FAMAS or UMP or whatever guns are set up in the beginning trying to get a kill while being called a fart box eating n00b. sigh.

^^ Wait, you play with "harder" people? I didn't know that. I have been getting my ass kicked more, but I look at the levels and I see all types of prestige levels.

Wonder if anyone's at a legit 10th prestige.

Yeah as you prestige the game is more likely to put you in rooms with people at or higher than your prestige. I noticed after noticing that I was also getting wrecked more frequently as well.

I think quite a few are.. I run into a lot of ppl with the emblems for 1000 AC130 or 1000 Chopper Gunner kills a lot. The kill streaks to get those are tough, then getting the actual kills can be tough as well. Leads me to believe they are relatively good. I've also met people who "practice" at the game. They do private matches and practice with each other before going "live".

Then again, I also get those annoying messages about people who sale their accounts for 1600 MS points.

Yeah, yeah, I saw that today as well. More experience doesn't necessarily mean better. People cheat. Or just play a lot but very shitty and never improve their technique. They just rack up the points to move up.

Just prestiged. Pretty sure I am now with the emblem over number 5 on the chart I posted. Dunno if I'm through five levels and on my sixth or on my fifth now. Whatever. A friend on PS3 claims to be on his eighth. Fuck him.

you get to level 70 then you moved up a prestige?

and when you move up a prestige, you start at 0 again?

Yeah, but your emblem changes letting others know how far you really have come. Emblem changes at every prestige.

Shit i've had the game since launch and i still haven't even reached my first prestige. I rarely get a chance to play it and when i do i only play for about 20 minutes or so before i have to go do something...
