I'll try to keep this short.
One of my friends that I've known for about 8 years is facing murder charges. On his 21st birthday he went out, got drunk, high, etc. That same night his next door neighbor was found dead in her home. He's lived in the same house his whole life. He's known this lady since he was a big head and a lil body. So anyway, they did an investigation and his DNA was in her house. I guess they had enough evidence to charge him with murder. So that's where he's sitting. In jail waiting to go to trial. He's never admitted to doing it but he's never said he didn't either. He's kinda dropped hints that if he did do it he didnt remember it...because he was so messed up. I dunno...But my thing is...How do I act around him? I still talk to him and write him letters. To me he's still the same person. He hasn't been convicted of anything yet...but the details of the whole story are pretty bad. It's not in my nature to turn my back on somebody I call a friend but when do you draw the line? If he told me he didn't do it I could stand behind him but he's not talking.
So what would you do in my situation?
His case might also get dropped because of the cops tampering with the evidence or something...
