I used to love the song but now I'm indifferent. It's nice but not nearly as nice as it's reputation says. I guess as I've grown over the years and my tastes have changed. For example I find myself becoming interested in rappers I would have had nothing to do with 4 years ago and abandoning rappers I used to support.

I can see why he'd compare it to some pop shit because the vocals are laid in a way that is more akin to that shit than a rap song but it's a great rap song in it's own right.
