according to AT&T it's out in the US next week.

Yeah, I just saw, on election day.

However, that was before the T-Mobile G1 came out, which I really believe is THE phone to get right now. Aside from a lackluster IM client (and there's supposedly better third party clients on the way), I've heard nothing but good things about the G1 and the Android OS.

I wouldn't get the G1 solely based on its aesthetics. Also, it would have to shit on the iPhone for me to get it, but most reviews I read are reluctant to even call it equally as good. But, they do say it's the "rival" phone.

Its crap. My friend has one. Always bugs out. You're better off shoving it up your own pooper than using as a phone.

I got the blackberry bold for free and pay $79 a month for $350 worth of calls and unlimited free internet and email. The blackberry email is amazing and truly what has made blackberry so successful. As for the phone itself I've popped 16gigs in there and have movies and mp3s on here. Can leach whatever I want. It comes with some awesome apps and in fact the only one I had to download was google earth. It does everything I always wanted a phone to do and more. They keyboard is great although a bit more cramped than the sidekick but its a lot better than using a touch screen to type. And it is 3G.

Oh to settle the phone discussion from a previous thread, I settled on a Blackberry Bold/9000 and it is by far the dopest phone I have ever had and Ive had all the Sidekick and 3G iPhone.

Anyway hope you guys are all well.

Yeah that's whats supposedly in Australia, something like that. It's way off topic.. I admit, lol. But he's from Australia and I just came from a meeting discussing how popular that is in Australia but i've not SEEN PROOF, lol.
