Well he did look fucked which is understandable after the effort he put in against Holland. He is a very good player. Let there be no doubt about that.

The whole Russian team looked tired. They couldnt play their high tempo game and once they went a goal down they seemed to pack it in a little too easy.

Fabregas is the best central midfielder in the world. I can comprehend how he doesnt start. Maybe he will play instead of Villa in the final. Torres was taken off too early as well although Guiza was good when he came on. Good performance by Spain although Gemrany wont give them the kind of space they had in the second half.

Fabregas best Centre Midfield player in the world? Hes close but the best? Meh why do people forget his performances dipped near the end of the season? and that his consistancy to do it over awhole season is questionable. On his day he is awesome however and is probably the best centre midfielder in the Premiership. But its pretty soon to say the best.

i think he is the best. He has an excellent all round game. Works very hard too. Xavi is a great player as well but i think Fabregas adds another dimension to the Spanish team when he is on the field. the makings of a great player. Its hard to believe that he is still only 21.
