See, that's what I don't understand about this German side. Playing poor football is one thing, the Germans are no stranger to that, but this time (including the group stages) even their German mentality (focused, hard-working, efficient) was nowhere to be seen. Only against Portugal they showed some spirit. And now, nada, njet.

okay, that was fucked cause watching the replay in slow motion on zoom it's clear that he went right into the guy and made him fall over. a victory doesn't taste as sweet when you know the other team got cheated out of a penalty kick.

there's so many little mistakes like fumbling with the ball or sending a sneaky pass that no one gets.

well yeah i didn't pay attention to the lines on the replay, just the feet work, but you could see when one of the german players started complaining to the referee he just shook his finger like "no no no". he seemed fairly certain he made a good call. that's even more fucked.
