And no again I didn't believe the hype, I actually found it funny people were touting Toni to challange C.Ronaldo for the Ballon D'or. If the Bundesliga is medicore then so is alot of other leagues.

Yeah Eto'o has been injured for half of the season, 16 goals in 19 games however.

Yes, Toni was poor during the tournament, but all of Italy was poor, so...he had a few good chances, botched some, got unlucky on others.

He fits better in a side that tries to play forward more.

1 german team made it to the knock out stages of the champions league last season. The last german team to reach the final was leverkusen 6 years ago. Bayern were the last german team to win it the year before.The last german team to reach the semi's was in 2002. Since the tournament began only 3 german teams have won it. Bayern Munich have won it 4 times(including a 3 in a row back i nthe 70s). Borussia Dortmund and Hamburg have won it once each. so yea the Bundesliga is a mediocre league.Most of the best players nearly always play for Bayern and these are usually Germany's best players as well. Id have it below serie a with La Liga and The Premiership well out in front.

And i dont think Germany have been all that bad. They can play some good football at times. Their first goal against Portugal was an example of this

not all of Italy was poor. Chiellini had a very good tournament as had Grosso,De Rossi, and Buffon.Panucci wasnt bad either.

To be honest Bobby, judging a league by Champions League progress isn't the best way to judge a league, best way is to actual watch the league and judge it like that. I don't believe the Premiership is the best due to the lack of depth, Spain has more depth that the Premiership. I actually think the Bundesliga is a good league. the Portuguese and french leagues wernt nowhere near the best when Porto and Monoco went into the final.
