I have always said that Germany would win Euro 2008 but now im not so sure. A lot of their top players are not playing at their best. Spain on the other hand have a lot of players in great form going into this tournament.

Sneyder will be fine. Van Persie looks fit. Probably won't start the first game, however.

Cannavaro out is a boon for me as a Dutchman, but as a footy fan it pains me to see a player like that miss the tournament. This would've been his last. Don't get me wrong, I don't want the Italians to achieve anything, but I do want everyone stepping up with full numbers to get the highest attainable skill level on the pitch over the whole tourney.
