Official Bear Beer Thread

post any updates about this elusive beer. today i went to dan murphys and looked in there import section and they did not have it. i was sad, so to cheer me up i bought a slab of amsterdam mariner beers which are 500ml.

Im pretty cool with the asians at my local liquor store, maybe I can get them to order some for me.

Word on the street is Timothy Treadwell is the guy who came up with the original brew. He is that crazy guy who was dinner for a bear. They found the recipe when they cut the bear open so they named it in its honor, hence Bear Beer.

God dammit Aristotle, why did you have to say that? I googled that name having not heard that story and found all the info. Now I'm freaked out that dude got eaten by a bear and all they found was his head and his arm. That's fucked up.

hmm.. So we have to be happy about it? If we're reaching for a fair playing field here then animals must also be happy for us to eat them. And as it stands right now I dont think any animal is happy to be eaten by anything...

Anywho back to this bear beer. I'd laugh if when someone finally gets hold of a can/bottle of this beer it tasted like shit.

hmmm...welll just to make a connection...if u wanted to..i guess u can mix the bear beer and chocolate milkshake from mcdonalds together and see how it tastes...yes....now chocolate milkshakes from mcdonalds and bear beer go together
