The problem was that Cheers came out the same year as Get Rich Or Die Tryin', so most of the focus was on 50 instead of Obie Trice, when in fact the latter could be a huge star too. I know he's been dropping the occasional mixtape, but I don't know when the actual album is supposed to drop. Hopefully it's soon, because he's been on a few MTV commercials lately.

Obie has the potential to be a good rapper, check his verses on 'Go to Sleep' and on 'Shit hit's the Fan'. But in my opinion he's nowhere near fulfilling this potential as of late.

Obie is mad underrated, Cheers was good, i have a feeling his 2nd album won't be as good though.

I liked his verse in "Stay Bout It' from the anger management 3 cd.
He's a good rapper but I don't think he can hold his own. The best songs on his cds are the ones with em and 50 and dre.

Not to dive off topic, anyone know when statlanta is supposed to drop? and Busta's cd. I thought i heard months ago that they were completed.

Yea, he is a very mediocre rapper anyway.I wouldnt say Cheers is that under rated anyway.Far better albums got less recognition.
