Notice how restaurants are getting more cheap by the day?

I can't believe how places are becoming so cheap! Damn...not the prices..the people that work there.

For example, couple of weeks ago, I go through the McDonalds drive-through, and they won't give me mayo (remember I grew up in Holland)! I am thinking..WTF? Where did that whack rule come from? Do that in Holland, and you'll see riots...mayo is actually more popular there than ketchup!!

This other day..I order the 5-5-5 deal from Dominos, and I ask the dude for as many condiments (ranch, blue cheese, etc.) as he can...he then tells me "Well, we're going to charge you." Again...I am thinking WTF?!! I ordered the same deal some time ago, and this rule did not exist back then...the guy from way back was actually nice enough to dump a lot of stuff into a bag.

Oh man...we're seeing the end of the world soon...what's next...being charged by the exact number of fries you buy?

i worked for dominos for 2 and half years. they always charged extra. 50 cents i believe is the charge. they always do that shit. they have to. the people that own the stores have to purchase those items from the dominos corportion. if they dont charge the loose money. lots of money.
now i will admit, most of the time i did not charge. but i was also a shift manager so i could get away with shit like that plus i just didnt give a damn. i was stealing money anyways what did i care if she(the owner) lost another 50 cents or 2 dollars compared to the 60 bucks i walked out of there with everytime i worked.

what i cant believe is how rude alot of the fast food workers are becoming. i go through those places nice and polite, and all i get is additude. one bitch didnt even give me my change. even though it was just 1 cent, its still the principal of the matter.

honestly i can understand where the dominos guy is coming from. when i would take orders on the phone people would be rude as hell demanding i put and i quote " a bunch of extra garlic butters" in with their order. i would always ask how many would you like and the response is usualy the same "i dont know, what does it matter, just put a bunch in there". and i would explain that we have to charge for those side items and of course they would get pissed. but they also think we live in the time of "your pizza will be delivered to your door in 30 mins or less" you wouldnt believe how many people use to call me up and say "its been 30 mins and my pizza isnt here and i want it for free" and i would have to tell them dominos stopped doing that when i was 6 and that they were quoted 45 mins.

hell yeah...i was at Mickey D's yesterday and i asked for some ranch dressing for my fries and they tell me that it's going to cost extra.....cheap bastards!

We only charge for like dipping sauces unless you get chicken strips. We used to give em away if you asked for em but it got to where people was asking for 3 or 4 sauces for 2 pieces of chicken. So we started charging for em if you don't get strips. Most of the time, people are just wanting something for nothing cause when you say they gotta pay for em, they'll be like...nevermind. lol I think it's funny really. I've gotten cursed out for that before and all I did was laugh at em. Idiots.
I could tell you so many stories about idiotic people. We get alotta kicks outta dumbasses.

Amen. We get like 15 cents raises once a year. This from a multi million dollar franchise.

i hate that so much. let me tell ya about nazi pizza (papa johns). we have a carry out special on tuesdays, 2 top med for 5 bucks. we are busy as hell on tuesdays. the drivers make little to no money on tuesdays. my managers schedules a bunch of drivers and like 1 inside person on tuesdays becuase the inside get paid more an hour and she knows we can do the same job as them.

we as drivers get paid 5.35 an hour to get behind our vehicles, put ourself at risk of being in a car accident, ruin our vehicles, and get shitty ass tips. the only reason i even make money at the end of the night in tips is cause i dont give back people change. it their total is 19.04 and they hand me a 20, i smile and tell them to have a nice day. that shit adds up. papa johns tells the drivers they will never get a raise. never.

I wish I had gotten to go to college sometimes. Of course that would change everything in my life but maybe I wouldn't be stuck slaving for greedy millionaires. I mean, I make pretty good money for being in fast food but sometimes I wish I had gotten a better chance. That's why I'm trying to make my kids see that they need to go to college, so they won't hafta wind up like I did. Now there's alot more ways to get into college than there was when I was in school. Plus they're into sports so maybe they can work towards a scholarship.

As for what Calcuo said, Ima agree with ya on the hygiene thing. There's nothing I can't stand more than to go into a restaurant and see some ghetto ass chick with long fake nails, twelve earrings in each ear, and more weave than the weave store with colors out the rainbow. We have phrases in our handbook against all that. You can't wear more than two pairs of earrings, one ring on each hand, no fake nails, no visible piercings other than ears, no unnatural hair colors, one bracelet or watch on each arm, long hair has to be pulled back, we hafta wear hairnets as well as hats. If your uniform isn't clean or is all wrinkled up or you funky, we'll send ya home.

Oh yeah, we've been doing this for years now but just recently we've been alot more strict about it because a restaurant here just had an outbreak of salmonella. One man died and shit load of people got sick. They now have a class action lawsuit for $5 million against them and will probably go out of business if they hafta pay out the whole amount. Though $5 million won't put KFC outta business, it would hurt our particular franchise alot.

they don't have mayo over here any more they have stopped doing it! i have to ask them to put some on a lid for me! mayo is the only sauce i like i cannot believe they stopped doing it
