Not goin to jail but i got a ticket...

Okay, i was drivin down a pretty busy road in my town, movin with traffic and i notice a cop is behind me followin pretty close. So like anyone with common sense its time to drive like you would if it was your test. Doin everything even using blinkers , and im noticing this cop is switchen lanes with me. a solid 5 minutes go buy and his lights go on. i pull over he comes up to me and goes license registration, took me a good 3 minutes to find everything(first time in my 2 years of driving i got pulled over). Give him everthing and he goes do you know how fast your were goin. No sir. 55 in a 30, okay, i get a ticket, whatever no big deal hes just doin his job...

Make a lon story even longer im walkin home. This is after I drop my car off and go to the bar, and im readin my ticket, becuase i heard if the cop fills it out with any wrong info its invalid. Well he put Tuesday the 1st of Dec. instead of Thursday. So i was wondering if anyone knows the deal with that whole thing, Im in NY if its a state thing not a national thing...

in canada,if they make a mistake,the ticket indeed becomes invalid.

i had a ticket for a red light and tinted front windows.The cop made a mistake on the ticket,i forget what it was because this was a few years back.Anyways i payed it,and about 2 weeks later,i got a check back in the mail,and with it was a slip that said the cop had made a mistake on the ticket so i get a refund.I still didnt get the $13 fee i had to pay at the registry though,which is a bummer,because i could have bout a pack of cigarettes with that money.Oh well,life isnt fair

It was weird like it was my frist time so i was a little nervous, but the guy that pulled me over was like nervous too like it was his first time too, haha. but i looked in my rearview and saw him on the radio for a while, i was wondering if he was askin if he should give to me, yeh i wasnt goin the limit, but it wasnt like i was reckless, i was moving with traffic...

lol ,sounds like a n00b cop,he was so nervous he got the date wrong.Yea just take it down to the courthouse and they should be able to waive the ticket for you

i was doin 74 in a 45 at 330 in the mornin drivin in mass. and i got pulld over and not one..or 2...but six police car came..(i was about 1000 feet from a police station.) newayz got handcuffd while they searchd my car. have me a 240 dollar ticket..and i had to go to court.

LOL, yeh the ticket didnt say he was goin that fast, but i know damn well he was, i was right behind him...they put him down for 90. And yes he is white, and he had a PBA, and hes gonna be cop in like 4 months, and he had something that showed that

Yup, thats what I heard alteast....it counts as a mistake and they are not allowed to overcharge you and thefore your ticket wont be processed until you fix it and ur insurance wont find out...
