i'm big on movies and one of my favorites is pulp fiction. i just about watch it everytime i can and lately it's been on cable. now so far it's showed twice. once on Spike TV and then on Bravo. well anyway, i couldn't help but notice that this, very edited, version of the movie blanked out the word "nigga" when samuel Jackson used it. however, it's not edited when Quentin T's char says it.
personally, i'm over the whole "N" word thing and i never gave flack about the word cause i say it every hour of everyday almost. but it certainly struck me as odd that this movie, and perhaps others, are edited this way. i mean really, there's no fuckin difference. a slur is a slur, nigger is nigger. i don't care how ebonic or well spoken you are.
thoughts?
