New years Resolutions

I know someone that walked out with a .07 after two semesters. He was pre-pharm, but now he works at a pharmacy 40 miles away from school, by his house. I know he regrets it, since he's in town 4 days out of the week to come chill. But now he's become an annoying siht, that just pops in whenever he wants. But that's another story. I've come so close, so many times, but somehow I make it. Still, I know that dropping out of school isn't the answer and so many people regret it afterwards. I dunno if this guy is gonna get it together when he tries to come back this fall, but most of us doubt it; not with the way he's acting since his departure.

yeah, i miss school. wish i hadnt left. now i got student loans out the ass and nothing to show for it. hopefully they will allow me to come back, and i'm sure they will, because all universities care about it money. but now the only problem will be getting the grants and such.

.07 and .25 gpa's? Whats the max 1.0?

My school is still on the 4.5 A+ 4.0 A 3.5 B+ etc.

It's out of 4.0. Some schools award different degrees of a number depending on if it's a solid grade or a + or -. Mine doesn't, and I think it's better that way. Most universities are like mine.

This kid I speak of, Ray, is really just an immature kid, and yes, it's coming from someone of the likes of me. Like I said before, his priorities aren't straight and as a result, he still keeps dicking around like he did his freshman year. His priority for when he comes back in the Fall, possibly? Who his roommate is gonna be (a friend from our group who is in a similar boat as this guy as well, not doing so hot, lost, etc.) and how they're gonna fill their apartment up with shit they don't need. Maybe it's my insecurities that make me feel bitter towards this, since all the buds I moved to this complex with are finally disbanding after only a year together which leaves me behind kinda alone, but it was annoying as shit seeing someone still enjoy life while there were more depressing and frustrating things in ours.

^^

Yeah, I have seen many people thinking college is just a way to waste four-eight years... Load up their apartment with huge flat screen tv's and shit they don't need, only to end up spending 25 grand a year to fail classes. I'm not saying mine are perfect, but damn, some people need to get some priorities straight.

One thing I've noticed is that the majority of kids who have someone else paying for their education tend to be these types of people.
