New TV advert in the UK

yes im promoting again. dont like it, hit the ignore button.

anyway, we just licensed our new single for a TV advert here in the UK. It's for a celeb magazine, gossip-rag type thing. They originally wanted to use our hit track from our last album, but our management told them it would cost them a lot more for that one since it does us no good to promote a track that's three years old over something that we have out now. they hadnt heard the new track at that point, but once they did....the deal was sealed.

here's the advert, should be hitting screens soon. nothing special, just advertising their magazine with our track playing. oh and we are also in this months issue of the mag, and have an interview in next months issue.

its some new "heat" style magazine, yeah its new, been out less than 6 months or so but it is in all the big stores, whsmith, etc. they have national distribution.

I hadnt even thought about that, that much, but come to think of it, you're right. I've discovered lots of songs through ads too.

This is kinda random. But today at work (I work at a grocery store in Canada) I saw a guy walking around with a Swami Shirt. I had no idea you guys were that big. From reading your posts I got the impression you were just starting to break out in the Uk. Anyways just thought I'd share this as I think it's pretty cool and I'm happy you guys are gaining success.

Do you live in a white community? I would imagine so in Scotland. I'm not aware of there being a big Asian scene in Scotland other than Tigerstyle who are bhangra producers from Glasgow and good friends of ours (they are remixing our new single and we are remixing their single which features a famous dancehall artist on it).

Do you ever listen to Radio 1, stefan? This was on the front page of Radio 1's website all of last week:

Thanks Pauly. Where did you buy the magazine? The magazine seems to be doing OK with their distribution as it seems to be in every newsagent now and all the national chain stores too. I'm going to try and find out what their circulation is but I know the TV advert is going to have 600 plays in the next month.

We are going to be on the cover next month and have an interview in the magazine also (I think they mentioned that in this months one, it said something like "look out for the exclusive interview next month" or something).

I do listen to Radio 1 9 hours a day from monday to friday, but dont visit their website.


Im not doubting a lot of the asian community know who yous'e are.
