New producers: do they get to hear the originals?

I think if the new producers atleast had the chance to hear what the og's sounded like, it would give them a better perspective.

Maybe Amaru worry that the tracks will leak. They do send to multiple producers so it couldn't be pinpointed. And those tracks are worth mucho pesatas.

How come sometimes the remixed beats sound very similar to the OG beats..minus the sample?

For instance..Dante said MOB OG has the same beat as remixed except the OG has a guitar playing the melody.

Well sometimes they do get the original producers to do the remixes. I'm not sure if Ant Banks produced the OG MOB but it seems reasonable. Sometimes when they do that the producer chooses to keep it near og, while sometimes they like to do something different with it (like QD3 with U Don't Have 2 Worry, or Johnny J with his songs)

No, I agree... FUCK today's youth. For one thing, it was YESTERDAY'S youth who listened to Pac, and we compose most of the fanbase, even now. Think about it, it was US who made All Eyez on Me go 9X Platinum and Makaveli go 4X Platinum... and it's probably more today, so we are the consumers who should be catered to, not some snot-nosed little punk-ass who probably wouldn't buy the shit anyway. Today's youth just downloads music off Kazaa or whatever they use now, so it's not like Amaru should try to get them to want it.

i agree 100%. u speak the truth my good man

^^ yea i felt his remix was kinda similar too.

does anyone know if these producers get to hear the ogs???

Well tha guy who produced it, Kurt Kobane, said that tha OG beat is more gangsta. He said it had piano keys played low, a guitar/guitars, some siren, and a few other things. He said this at thavaults.com.
