I think I am not going to enjoy this album, call me a hater but hearing re-used and crunked, and not to mention, leaked (at least to us internet-fans), 2pac just aint my thing...

edit: On a positive note, I could, after a dozen listens, tolerate this. At least its better than that hideous Brenda's Cotton Baby Hackjob "Untouchable"....

TI has a nice verse. Ashanti has no business being on this track. The beat's tight, but I don't know how they picked Pac's Life for the beat.

I actually think the verse they used from This Life I Lead fit the theme. It's better to throw that on there than throw on another guest verse, or more Ashanti singing.

I think people only like this because it's better than Untouchable, but really this is just sad. T.I. rapping a tribute verse on the same song that Pac is rapping on, plus Ashanti's horrible vocals piercing my ears. The beat is actually pretty nice, but the guest appearances, lack of Pac chorus, and the re-used verse is all gay. And the transition at the end of the Life I Lead verse back to Pac's Life sounds like shit.

This track is a classic compare to untouchables.No but the song is really nice production wise.

I have few problems though.One,guests are horrible choices.Ashanti and TI on this track is so wrong.If Amaru should really had to listen and pay attention was this time with this track.Because this a type of song that its important to have guests who knew Pac persoanlly.Its Pac's Life,Pac is rapping about his life so who would be next better person to rap about his life?Anybody that knew him personally.Ashanti and TI are horrible choices as they didnt know him.
And also,using already released verse from a song to mix with new song is i think horrible.It will sound normal with most people but for those who has heard This Life I Lead already,it will sound strange.But i guess we'll get use to it.

And this shouldn't be taken so literall but i just find it funny when Ashanti sings ''What do you know about Pac's life my question is who is she to say that when she doesn't even knew him?It just sounds odd.

i agree 100%, but i think this is as close as we will get to hearing a decent pac track. this is WAY better then lttg

I actually like both tracks... even untouchable after listening to it a few more times(when i first heard it, i couldn't stop thinking about the chappelles show skit... "i wrote this song a long time ago..")...

i miss the OG pac's life beat, but its a good mix...
they should have had him sayin the hook with Ashanti... I wonder why they took the "playa hataz wanna see me killed" part...


Regardless, i like both tracks...anxious to hear the rest of the tracks.... i want a "pain" type of track..... or "staring through my rearview" type of track... somethin that'd really hit ur emotions, ya feel me?
