The first mixtape out of Kakalak Gat's New Gat City series... it is definitely a street album! Featuring #1 Eastern NC radio singles "I'm Grindin" and "Too Trill"

---

Kakalak Gat has been making noise on the North Carolina scene for the past 8 years. Known for his true to life street rhymes and gritty street production Kakalak Gat is known and respected among not only his fans but his musical peers also.

Having opened for Mobb Deep, M.O.P., K-Hill, and Little Brother among other national recording artists Gat shows versatility among any crowd. Mostly recently known for his smash hit "Cry Like A Baby" available on the Neblina Records "Definition: The Compilation”.

His debut album in 2000 titled "Marryed 2 Tha Streetz" sold an impressive 3,000 copies independently and was quickly named a classic by fans and critics alike. Following the great success of the album Gat received requests to perform in venues across NC, VA, and GA. Requests for guest appearances and production rolled in but it was interrupted by a period of personal loss, tragedy, and legal issues. The deaths of several close friends and family members found him not actively performing or recording during this time however he continued to write. Due to his dedicated work ethic in the studio he had recorded enough material to provide a series of mix tapes during his public absence.

Gat having now returned to the music scene is in the process of re-establishing his name with his fans as well as drawing in new fans. Gat is a dedicated wordsmith as well as a beat smith that is dedicated to his craft and expects to build upon his success that was interrupted. He is currently promoting his recently independently released album “Finally Here” which reintroduces the world to Gat’s superb penmanship and musical craftsmanship.

Kakalak Gat goal is to leave nothing to wishes and everything to success.
