i gota say, this is one of the hottest east coast songs ive heard this year...just sounds very mid 90's..the lyrics are actually really on point, beat is FIRE!...i love the back and forth rhyming, they havent done it since phone time...and this is almost as hot as that song..just wish the hook was a lil better

you must be crazy. a fucking 4 bar sampled loop does in no way capture the brilliance of the original song.

True, but when the same loop has been rinsed to death already, it's not as appealing. Motherfuckers can't be more creative? Use a different part of the song to sample, one that hasn't been done to death? I like RZA as a producer cos he rarely flips the most obvious part of the original song.

It's all about originality. Kanye's "Good Life" samples MJ's "P.Y.T", but it's done in a very original way and doesn't sound like the intro of the original track looped with some drums on it.
