P first picked up a mic in 79' and immediatly began making a name for himself around the Patterson Projects at only eight years old. His rivalry with Lord Finesse is stuff of Bronx legend, he's hung with everyone from Chill Rob G to Ricky Dee, his 12"s are unfuckwitable, his mixtapes are dependable and he's probably outshined your favourite underground emcee on they're own shit more than once.
This Summer will see the release of the first official Percee P opus through California based Stones Throw Records. The album entitled Percee-verance, produced entirely by Madlib, is rumored to feature the likes of Diamond D, Lord Quas and Prince Poetry. In view of his stupidly consistent twenty year output I’m expecting it to be a stellar offering.
