NES cartridges JUST WON'T DIE

Sega Megadrive/Genesis cartridges were definitely not that durable. A lot of mine broke over the years i had it.
Really? I had about 40 Mega Drive games over the course of about 10 years and the only one that broke was one that somebody yanked out of the machine while it was still switched on.
^^maybe thats how mine broke as well lol. would they stop working after you did that?

Funny thing is a few days ago I found my old nes with all games but no power adapter and no video cables.
However I took a few cartridges and tried similar things lol

that was cool, i thought when she threw the cartridge in the washing machine that was it for the mario bros game. but it still played.
its seems to me that the Megadrive was more popular in Ireland, UK and the rest of Europe. i remember when i was a kid, i knew a load of people who had Megadrives but only one guy who had a SNES.
Agreed, most kids i know had the Master System or MegaDrive (Genesis) rather than a NES or SNES.
Nes and Snes were waay more popular mostly because of.. Pegasus

If you don't know it you really should read that article as it was a huge phenomenon back in the days here and after reading you will know why.
It's our own "Nintendo" console which was about 1/20 price of the original thing (literally) and played all of its games just like you'd play it on a NES/Snes. The only difference is slightly different looks and that it was actually.. better!

No but nobody cared about it at that time - it was everywhere. People in the 80s and in the 90s didn't give a fuck here. There were even TV ads! lol
Yeah they tried but nobody knows who even created these consoles and that didn't stop them.
