I'm a big fan of both red and wine. Don't like much of champaign (or sparkling white to be correct) unless i'm celebrating or getting pissed.

In the reds i love my shiraz but i drink anything from a merlot to a cab sav.
In whites i love Saviogn Blanc if i'm having seafood or just a chardoney.

I generally choose the right wine to complement the food i'm eating. But enjoy a glass of red on it's own here and there. My red's are generally a little 'nutty' to say the least. Somewhere inbetween sweet and dry but with a heavy taste. I enjoy my whites a little sweeter or fruity yet a little dry to give it that stronger taste. But again it all depends on the food i'm eating.

I've recently been having alot of desert wine (sweet wine) which is extrodinarily fruity and sweet. It goes very well after a meal. I have my favourite (i don't know the name since the owner of the place i get it from gives me a glass everytime i go to his lounge/bar, all i know is it's hungarian or something or rather).

One of my favourite wines is from a south australian winery called Russet Ridges (i visit it when i can, it's a 4 hour drive)
The ones i love from there are:
St Hugo Coonawarra cabernet Sauvignon
Russet Ridge Cabernet Shiraz Merlot
Montrose Black Shiraz
Richmond Grove Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon
All red wine, each going for about 30-40 bucks.

And Rosé's are quite good, they're for serious wine drinkers i guess. Though the light colour fooled me into thinking it's crap, it was quite a surprise when i first tried it.

Nah, no way. lol. Wine hits faster and the hangovers can be worse if you cant handle your shit... definately not for a pussy!

Wine does go straight to the head and does hit faster. Despite it having a lower alcohol level than spirits it's a heavy drink. I don't drink wine to get pissed, i generally drink wine to compliment my food. But i have before and the hang overs aren't fun. But i do drink champaign to get smashed if it's a special occasion. I do prefer my bacardi and coke, but champaign works as well.

I only drink wine if it's mixed with pepsi, making the "bambus" drink. But, the last time I did was when I was 10 years old, and got drunk for the first time. I didn't remember anything at all from what happened. First and last time with that experience. I haven't smoked weed in months and only done it about 10 times in my life. Don't plan to soon, either. I drink occasionally, if there's a specific reason.
