NEW YORK (AP) -- Game 2 of the NBA finals took a hit in the TV ratings, and the series finale of "The Sopranos" was the prime suspect.

The San Antonio Spurs' 103-92 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night drew a 6.9 overnight rating on ABC, down 24 percent from last year's 9.1 for Game 2 between the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat. Ratings for "The Sopranos" finale on HBO were not immediately available.

Overnight ratings measure the 55 largest television markets in the United States, and each overnight rating point represents about 735,000 households.

National ratings were expected Tuesday.

Ya I don't buy this. When there is a 25 point lead at halftime of course no one is watching.

true
I think that the Sopranos finale just added on 2 it

ratings confuse me. now this is a 'overnight' rating? whats that. other day shit represented more households 2

unless somethin out of the ordinary happens during game 3 it's gonna be the same story
anybody know what were the highest rated finals ever?

I know this much the world series got 10.5 rating last year and that was the lowest watch world series ever.

The NBA hasnt had a finals with a over ten 4 out of the last five years.
