Which one are you going to buy? They both come out today. 2k6 is ten dollars cheaper, though. IGN gave Live a rating of 9/10, but the rating for 2k6 didn't come out yet. I'll wait a couple of days and read the reviews, and proceed to buy one of those.

Truthfully, I think EA Sports pays critics money to speak highly of Live, because it is never as sweet as it seems. For example, last year, the only nice thing about it was the dunk contest. IMO Every year that 2K has been made, 2K has been better than Live

^No. I've been buying the 2k franchise since the 2k3 series. It has a better simulation game, aka, it's much more realistic. But, it has better graphics, too. Just read the review for Live. If you're looking for a simulation game that resembles real life basketball, THAT IS NOT THE GAME YOU WANT. Live is the type of game for younger children that are really fascinated by out-of-this-world blocks, enormous high-flying, etc. Basically, it's more arcadish. The 2K series focus on simulation and reality of the game.

^^ I agree, its funny too considering EA used to pride itself on realism back in the days of NBA JAM, now Live is more arcade.

2k6 would be my bet.

2k6 got an 8/10 on IGN. The review says how the game hasn't changed much from last year's, which has me straying away from it. I'm leaning towards Live now.
