I get a tingle when the squad is lined up and the Wilhelmus is played, but that's more because of the footy spectacle rather than the actual anthem.

The only times I feel patriotic are when it's about sports or our (Dutch) libertarian values.

But yeah, great effort. It's amazing when tens of thousand people join in to sing a song in a (footy) stadium. You can feel it.

Before every league match in Heerenveen, the Frisian anthem is sung. Especially in bigger games (Ajax, Groningen, Feyenoord, PSV), even though it's maybe only like half the stadium (12000) singing, the sound and vibrations, it's still everywhere.

The Bosnian hymn before a Handball match with Serbia. You couldn't hear the music because of the people singing it so at one point they just turn the music up.

The Yugoslavian one was a great hymn... The Poles have it now... Yes masta, you stole our hymn. lol

Most true blooded Australians don't know the 2nd verse of our Anthem and its often lip synched and this includes our previous Prime Minister.
