Nate Dogg was reportedly arrested Monday morning (June 23) for terrorist threats while driving in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ.com, the 38-year-old artist (real name: Nathaniel Hale) was arrested after his estranged wife called 911 while driving down the 405 freeway in Los Angeles, claiming Nate was making death threats and following "dangerously" as she drove down the freeway.

California Highway Patrol finally caught up with the couple and both were pulled over. After speaking with both parties, Nate Dogg was arrested and charged with making terrorist threats and driving on a suspended license.

This took place at around 8:30 AM.

TMZ reports that Nate is in the process of being booked into the medical ward of the Twin Towers jail in downtown L.A.

As previously reported, Nate suffered a stroke over the holidays. His rep said in January that he was expected to recover.

At press time, attempts for comment from his camp were not available.

I mean driving erratically is endangering other peoples lives but it's hardly a terrorist threat, unless he said something to Police that would make them do this. Medical ward of the jail might mean he's a bit loony at the moment? Who knows, just seems a weird reason to be arrested.
