Nas x DJ Premier - Light-Years

Weird project for me. I feel like Premo beats have really dated, I just dont enjoy listening to the production on this album, but Nas absolutely kills the lyrics and flows. He's rapping like a kid again it's amazing.

It grew on me the more I listened to it. Nas is my favorite rapper and Premier is my favorite producer, so of course I have wanted this album for a loooong time. I didn't go into it expecting Premier to have old school sounding beats like it's 1995. Anyone who had that mindset only did themselves a disservice in my opinion. I think it's a solid album overall. Maybe like a 7.5/10.
