Nas' new album Hip Hop is Dead has entered the Billboard 200 album chart at No. 1 this week.

Hip Hop is Dead, Nas’ eighth studio album, marks his third No.1 on the Billboard 200. The set moved 355,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. His other two discs to reach the top spot were 1999's I Am... The Autobiography and 1996's It Was Written.

Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, Bow Wow's The Price of Fame enters at No. 6 with 262,000. It is the youngster’s third-best charting week ever, as his 2003 effort Unleashed and 2005's Wanted both debuted at No. 3.

Trick Daddy's new album, Back by Thug Demand, bowed in at No. 48 on sales of 87,000.
