In my opinion, in addition to killuminati being the better overall album in edubs catalogue, it was extra nice bein it was made in just a week

the order changes quite often, but 7 Day Theory is always at the top slot. For today, I have Illmatic as the 3rd greatest album of all time.

There is just something very wicked about the Makaveli album. Not to discredit the Illmatic album because it's a classic but with every track that went further into the Makaveli album, it's as if it got deeper and deeper. There seems to be a pattern, where it elevates it's strength song by song and Pac's voice with a spooky atmosphere complementing him on the production, is simply incomparable to that of Nas's album. The subject matter, like some one else stated, is in a class of it's own. Pac puts a combination of metaphores, story telling, an introspective part of his, while at the same time leaving a mystery behind, along with an intense delivery and a mystical subject matter that simply surpasses the rest of hip hop albums.
