Man some of you guys really need to admit that you guys are RIDING ON PACS NUTS TOO MUCH!
Im one of his biggest fans, and dont get me wrong, PAC was the GREATEST to EVER do it, as a person, revolutionary, artist, intellectual, and WILL be the greatest ever in my opinion. But saying FUCK napoleon for his views is completely ignorant. This is the same man who rode with Pac during his prime, same man who made that 7yr video "Never Forget" in commemoration of his fallen homie Tupac Amaru Shakur, this is also the same man who has found something in his life that he can put faith in.
He's not saying fuck tupac, hes saying that the entire hiphop industry (mostly owned by whites and jews) altogether is really in essence brainwashing the American youth and selling this culture of violence, drugs, and exposure of women for profit. Napoleon wasn't talking down on the real thugs(underdogs in society) and the real people in the streets who do what they have to do to survive as in any other nation, but he is talking down on how this industry makes the privileged youth in our world want to seek out this life. And that to me is exactly on the point. We've all seen kids with parents who will buy them anything they want, but instead, they seek out to sell drugs and be led in a life of crime. All Napoleon is saying that kids shouold not look up to these rappers as role models, they are merely entertainers and what this industry is doin is clouding the minds of our youth.
Even Tupac himself recognized this, that is why he devoted his life to spit shit as real as possible and try not to glorify the street life. Some of his fans understood his real message in his lyrics, and continued to use that as motivation to be a stronger and better person in his or her own life. But as all things come with consequences, others looked to him as a role model of the street and followed him in that way. But I guess that's but ultimately made Tupac real as everyone says, he's only human...and he understood the effects of his actions, to me, as a fan that never met him, his own words in Tupac Ressurection and his music put together give the greatest reflection of who the man really was.

1. Napoleon was born muslim (his father was muslim i guess), so it's not a new faith he found.. And he has been a relatively devoted muslim for some time now, since i remember seeing him pray in a mosque and talking about his Muslim faith in the "Outlawz Worldwide" DVD.
2. Maybe he now found a new dimension for his faith, a deeper one than before.. But in my opinion, i don't think that one should choose between Religion and Music.. Now i'm not Muslim, so i cant talk about this specific case, since i might not know all the facts, but in my opinion, religion in general does not contradict with music/rapping.. I think u can be both religious and rapping at the same time. Just don't rap about killing people, drugs and other "inappropriate" stuff.
I dont want to attack anyone or any religion at all, but stuff like this is "my problem" with religion.. These boundaries and taboos and stuff.. I mean this view that Napoleon is adopting, it's everything that Pac attacked/disliked about religion, and how it tends to "control" people sometimes (or the mis-use of religion). Pac rapped about "Is God just another cop waiting to beat my ass if i dont go pop" or something like that.. Actually, the whole "Blasphemy" track has a whole different perspective towards religion than Napoleon's new one. But still Tupac had faith in God.. It just was kind of "in his own way" faith, and this is how i see it should be.. Religion is not a "constitution".. It just sets guidelines, and it's up to every person to analyze it and act accordingly. And so as i said before, i dont agree on Napoleon's new views. Moreover, i think he himself will find a middle zone between his old and new views, soon enough.

But still, i don't buy this whole point of view.. I don't think that stuff like that really affect youth's minds, and when it does, it's the fault of the parents and society in general, and not the rappers. I know that there are countless cases of where raps affected young kids, but what i'm saying is 2 things:
a. The rap song was not solely responsible for those situations. Actually, in my opinion, it comes in last place, when it comes to responsibility. If everything was ok with that kid's life, then i'm sure that rap song would not have had the same impact on him.
b. I'm saying that those cases are really negligible in comparison with the cases where raps did not badly influence young kids.
Finally, as i said before, if Napoleon really wasn't happy with rap's "direction", than he shouldn't have run away from it. Instead of turning his back to it, he should have tried to change it. Or was he worried that he wont sell as much when rapping about different stuff?!!

I think he is brainwashed because he has gone too far in religion, and I will tell it about anyone who went hard in religion whether it’s Islam, Christianity, Buddhism or whatever. That’s just my point of view on religion and I don’t want to persuade anyone. My view on religion was formed totally when I was like14-15, before that I believed in Christ.
It’s not because of Pac’s views that I don’t like new Napo mentality, It’s all mine.
About Outlaw part: I didn’t say I want him to be outlaw gangsta or something. I was talking about outlaw/thug mentality that Pac taught about, positive staff, a strong mind that overcomes all traps, reach for the stars, always standing straight etc. And I see religion as a step away from control of your life, I see religion like a way for weak minds. Napo could have released a cd with positive lyrics but it wouldnt get much attention like the other million rappers that do positive hip hop... every once in a while u have a concious track that makes it big, but thats very rare cases.

hassan, you can't say that I don't know what I'm talking about, I know that religion teach positive things. My main argument is that it's my point of view on religion, and it always offends people. When man believes in God or Allah , I don't have problem with that. But when a man goes deep in religion system, I hate that. For me religion is controlling people more than anything else. People who are on top in religion system are worse than any others, they fake and like charlatans they cheat on people for centuries, again it's my personal point of view.
And about Kadafi, he was muslim but didn't get into religion, his believes was his.
