3 good qualities of an interviewer?

asks good questions, firm and umm...doesnt get all buddy buddy with the interviewee. I fucken hate it when E.T. does that.

i'm asking this cause i'm gonna maybe have a job in surveys and i'm gonna have a phone interview tomorrow and they are surely gonna ask me this. and since there is some real interviewers here, just wanna know. i know there's objectivity. what else?

Well, don't get mad.

I remember when I had AOL I'd say the meanest things to the customer service since AOL always used to piss me off and they would never get mad.

Though interviewing is kinda different from that, and surveying is kinda different from interviewing.

i always hang up on people doing surveys. i hate answering surveys. so i expect a bunch of people hanging up on me if i ever get that job.

This is what I learned when interviewing another person. A Good Interviewer is:

1. Able to take control of the interview, and knows where he or she is going with it (ex. In some cases, it might be much easier to make up the questions right on the spot (during the interview), rather then coming up with the questions before hand).

2. Is flexible. (ex. Able to adjust to the tone of the interview.)

3. Knows his or her limits. (ex. There is only so far you can go with an interview. This is best to keep in mind if when your going too far, or when your not even close to hitting the bulls eye. Don't ask questions that he or she will hate you for, but keep the respect).

btw she didnt ask me this in the phone interview finally. she asked me tons of other stupid thing. as for the english/french interview, she spoke english so badly i couldnt understand almost what she was saying. but anyways now i have a real interview on thursday. its dumb tho. why all of this for only calling people and asking them some damn questions. seriously.

This is phone interviews your gonna be doing, if so....

I've done phone interview/promotion/sale calls. One thing I've always noticed with the best sales people is that you have to be alive on the phone, that means alert/good mood. Talk like your really interesting in knowing about the person's opinion.

Someone said, know the limits, which is just not to hassle the person at the end of the line. (Mostly since your supevisor has all your calls recorded lol)

Another interviewer quality, you already have naturally... You're a female. lol. Everytime at work, guys would get a angry hang up 2 times more than females. People take the time to listen to female, men they don't give a shit. Si tu as une voix sexy et attirante, tu ne devrais pas avoir de probleme, Carm. (don't tell them that if they want to know what's a good interviewer, cause this is more like an unwritten law lol)

already done that phone interview. she didnt ask it. but she had all sorts of questions about what i would do in certain situations. like if the person i called for the surveys get off topic, how am i gonna bring the conversation back to topic, etc.

wasnt hard at all. i always freak out for nothing. i dont like interviews. not real interview is thursday. yeah...
