I also would like to add that I have visited the frequently asked sticky and checked out http://www.2pacboard.com/forum/faq.php?faq=faq_why_dont_have#faq_new_faq_item2 and these were the instructions.

To change your User Name click on User CP > Edit Profile, found in the top navigation menu.
In order to change it back, you must wait three days. The edit field WILL reappear.

In my Edit Profile I am unable to find the option to change my name.
