N.E.R.D. are set to release a feature tracking their evolution from the recording studio to their live performances.
Directed by the hip-hop director Hype Williams, the film is set to be released in December 2008.
Pharrell Williams told Hot 97, "[The film] is going to be like The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night, [It's a] full length film. It's for our fans."
Williams, who has worked with Kanye West, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z and LL Cool J, has previously worked with N.E.R.D. on their "Rock Star" video.
N.E.R.D.'s new album Seeing Sounds is due for release on June 9 and the band plays at London Brixton Academy on June 14.
