Why not Take Dusseldorf or Take Albuquerque. This is actually a real question, what made you choose that name?

Also, I like the song a lot. I'm thinking Linkin Park, but not as hard.

It's named after one of my favorite quotes which randomly turned out to be one of AS Is's favorite quotes too and he brought it up. Napoleon (the real one, not the rapper) said "If you set out to take vienna, take vienna."

In other words, if you say you're going to do something, just fucking do it. Kind of my motto with this project. No bullshit talk, just good music.

The album is setting out to be really epic, yet laid back. I think you kind of nailed the description perfectly which makes me feel very happy. I will make sure to send you a Take Vienna bumper sticker

The transition from the 35sec mark to the chorus really throws the listener off. It's like "make sure you're paying attention" but it throws you off and kinda kills the mood.

AS Is say's "Nah." LOL. It took me awhile to get used to it and without it the song sounds a bit boring throughout I think. It used to be a lot more out there I had to threaten to cut his toes off unless he tamed it down to what it is now. Thanks for the feedback though man we appreciate it....

Never heard the country music comparison before. I've gotten rolling stones for that song, linkin park, that type of thing. But country? How odd. Heh. Certainly not the sound we were going for. I think its more blues than country. I thinks its great how different people hear and feel music differently. Thanks for taking the time to listen though.
