My microwave broke :(

More seriously, try taking it to a TV repair place, they might do it for practically free. If not, they might give u $ for it. Even if its like $5.

I never cook with my microwave. I use it for defrosting and sometimes re-heating. Fuck TV-dinners, fuck microwave dinners, fuck pre-peeled potatoes even.

i tell my colleagues there is endless ways to boil water in a kitchen; kettle, microwave, oven, grill, stove, and hob ... you have a dish on order which requires gravy, which requires boiled water, and your microwave is fucked ... ever heard of kettle cooking with the top off, open the can - fill the kettle, and stick it in there to heat up, bingo

You poor man. How can you work your way around technology and not know how to turn a stove on? Microwaves suck, as Duke said only purpose for them is defrosting (if I forget to get the meat out in the morning) and re-heating..
