How do you put Illmatic lower then Eminem show?

Anyways, it's your list, what you like is based on your taste, so it's all good.

Illmatic never really grew on me, not to say i love the eminem show that much.

For some reason i really dig the new warren g. Gimme a few months and it might fall on the list though.

^hah, pretty much the truth. I just cut and paste it from MS word. It took me a week or so with my free time at work.

How in the fuck is DMX's "great depression" at 24, and "It's Dark and Hell is Hot" is down at 57?????

"It's Dark & Hell is Hot" is not only X's best album by a MILE, it's one of the best NY rap albums EVER.

Not to diss or anything, but what was the purpose of this thread? Did you want us to post our own Favorite 100 lists or just criticize yours, because that is what is inevitably happening. I was going to tear your list apart, but Makaveli was #1 so this is all I'm saying :)

20 2Pac related releases
19 Snoop-related releases
Every Nas album except for the worst
Every DMX album
Every Jay-Z album except for the least-popular ones
A Ja Rule album
Both 50 Cent albums
The Game's album
Eminem's last album
A D12 album
Compilations of leftover songs
Nine Cube-related releases, but his two best albums aren't there

You need to expand your horizons, man.

^ damn i hated that album with a passion (Grand Champ). I thought it was way too busy and loud, i need something chill. I only listened to it a few times and was so disgusted that i sold the actual cd that i bought, to a friend like a week later. But i still got love for DMX and am very much anticipating his new shit. Ecspecially after hearing what he said on that "touch it Remix". His verse got me in that DMX mood again.
