Film & TV MVP Baseball 2005

Hey, I know we have to have some MVP'ers in here. I recently just started playing this game (Never been a fan of baseball, but I thought I'd give it a try). However I have a problem. No matter who I'm hitting with, I can never, and I mean NEVER hit a home run. I was just playing the homerun challenge, using Albert Pujols, and everything I hit is a short grounder or just ends up in the middle of the field. I can't even come close to hitting a homer. Just wondering if there is a certain way of doing it, or is it just a matter of timing. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm playing on PC with dual analog controller. Whenever I hold up on the stick, it's usually a pop fly and not a homer. I'll give it another shot though. It seems to be working now, thanks pietro, you get repped for that ;)

I have another question. Is there a way to use created players in dynasty mode? I really don't even see the point of creating a player if you can't even use him in a season or dynasty.

well sometimes pc is different

but to get a created player on a dynasty team, before you start the dynasty, go to your rosters, create the player, sign him up, save the roster, exit rosters, start dynasty, and dont use the default roster in dynasty settings when youre setting up

hmmm i think its dont use default rosters, it has to do with that option when youre starting the dynasty

just make sure to create the dude, sign him, save rosters, exit rosters and go to dynasty right away

I got it to work eventually, but for a while there for some reason, after I'd sign him and save my roster, I'd go to dynasty, make sure the default rosters are off, but the guy wouldn't be on the team
