I moved away to pursue my dream. I have always wanted to work in the entertainment industry, mainly on the music side. I never wanted to be a performer, just make my own music for myself and friends to hear, work in studios, maybe a major label doing the buisness side of things, and one day having my own studios. I'm working towards that right now, going to school at one of the best tech colleges in north america if not the world, for anyone wanting to enter the entertainmnet industry.
Putting all your cards on the table in hopes to be a rapper is a big chance. You may not grow a fan base for like 15 years and that's if you r really dedicated at it and never give up. If that is what you want to do then do it. But one of my favorite underground rappers is a guy named soulstice. I read an interview with him where he said he wants to be a rapper but can't rely on a rap career to pay off. He needs something to fall back on. So he got a degree in audio engineering, which is the same thing I'm studying right now.
What kind of rapper r y trying to be? A marketable samething you always hear ganstarapper, or just one that can pay the bills and get by on having a small label with a small fan base, making music that the average listener of music just isn't going to like I.e. Not played on the radio
