I really miss the old school hitemup, what ever happenned to Jon and why did the site stop being updated
well that's not really true. there are people who still collect even. a bunch of them. and they are all good people. they just don't go to messageboards anymore. they still go online and browse though. The '2Pac scene' has been dead for a while. I think Loyal To The Game was the first real nail in the coffin. As much as that shit was Em's fault......'Pac's Life wasn't a massive improvement either.
Dante retired from the scene and is apparently selling his collection on ebay. As much as he was a prick, he was pretty much the last of the 'old guard' in terms of being dedicated to the scene.

tupac was a young deceased artist when he was really "popping" a few years ago. the "real" fans are still out there, just not on public boards. it's becoming a more grown-up thing with the tupac scene. i still consider myself a part of the scene, but i'm no longer a groupie fan. i mostly listen to other music. he's still one of my favorites. but that's neither here nor there.
i think its funny when people ask why the scene is dead. like preach said, there is still collectors, they just don't go on message boards.
and we wonder why?
because the online scene has been tainted by annoying ass 2pac fans who want to do nothing but freepost and talk shit to eachother. its like a battle to see who is right. i miss the old days when all we did was spread knowlege and relate to eachtother in different ways. now its a bunch of 14 yr olds who just want to start shit so they're known on a 2pac board. its hardly about pac anymore.
i cant remember the last time i engaged in a mature conversation related to 2pac. and im not really talking shit about every 2pac board out there. there are a couple good ones, but theres not too much activity because well, what the fuck is there to really talk about.
