At first I was like "how the fuck can you say Dylan was boring" and then I was like "oooh, thats Jokermans 3 muses list" and then i was like "sofi's just laming around" and then I made this post.
I like him a lot, but his persona is kind of boring. Except for the time he got drunk and flipped over his Ferrari, walked away and then came back and asked the gathered crowd, "who was driving?"
I was walking down Park Ave in NY one day about 10 years ago and Clapton comes out of a building and just stands in the middle of the sidewalk looking like he owned the world. There was no mistaking it was him. I walked past him and said, "Hi, Eric," and he nodded at me and said hi. Then he hailed a cab. Left me thinking, that's a real down-to-earth guy. You just expect someone like that to have an entourage or something.
I can understand not liking Nirvana's music or thinking they're overrated. I don't feel that way but I can understand it. But if you think the larger story of the band is boring, then maybe rock and roll isn't for you.
