This is the ultimate boxset from one of the most gifted MCs in the world! The four cd boxset hosts 60 tracks from digitally mastered rarities, remixes, b-sides and freestyles and a load of tracks that have only ever appeared on 12 inch singles! This is well worth the price, with tracks such as 'Another World' (Black Star), 'My Kung Fu', 'Mos Def', 'Tinseltown' (Beatnuts remix), 'Travelin Man (DJ Honda remix), 'S.O.S. (with Bush Babies), 'Brighter Day' (with Ronnie Jordan), 'Body Rock (with Q Tip), 'Questions' (with Common), 'B-Boy Document' (with High and Mighty) and 'Make It All Better' (with Weldon Irvine), this release comes highly recommended.

A few days ago I picked up the Mos Def compilation "We Are Hip Hop * Me * You * Everybody".

I gotta say, Im sure this 4 disc collective will be in both my cd changer, ride and computer getting played over and over for a while to come. I can't recall ever hearing such a well put together "greatest hits" almost, if not that already.

- No song from either Mos album (Black On Both Sides & The New Danger) are on any of the 4 discs.

-The music spans from all area's of Mos Def's career.

-Made of unreleased, remixed, collaborated or guest featured material.

-Features such icons like A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Common, Talib Kweli, Pete Rock, Beatnuts and more.

I'm gonna say it, this record is classic. Be on the look out for a sample.

anyone have a non-youtube version of Katrina Klap? I cant believe the first time I started to like him was after the Dave Chappelle car freestyle. Gifted for sure, but rarely hear anything from him. Brown Sugar is quite the tune aswell

I thought this was a bootleg? I've had it for a while, never got around to listening to it though
You've had it for awhile, yet never got around to bumping it. Dude, WHATS WRONG WITH YA??!!..

Im telling you to go bump that shit first chance you get, I know people who'd happily jack ya for the cd or your computer because it has the cd. Shit's ridicolously great.

peace.
