I really liked first mortal kombat games. MK3 was pretty good at that time. I remember playing it in arcades. Nice times

MKII is the best with Ultimate MK3 coming in second. I couldn't stand wat they did to the fatality system in Deception.

Of course. I forgot about Ultimate MK3, that was definately one bad ass game. With that in mind, my top 3 list is now:

1. MK2
2. Ultimate MK3
3. MK: Deception

The thing that I really loved about Deception and the reason it ranks so high in my list is because of the Konquest mode where you control Shujinko from a young boy throughout his life, and visit all the different worlds solving tasks and puzzles and become a better fighter. By the time you finish that mode, nobody can fuck with you cos you know every trick in the book. The mode was fun as hell and really engaging, I really enjoyed it. That could have been an entire game in it's own right. I don't understand why they didn't consider doing it that way instead of releasing that weak side-scrolling MK that they did a few years ago.

Ok so i got a copy of the Pal uncensored version....this game is sick!!!! I dont understand how it got so many bad reviews. Game is tight as fuck and im currently going thru the story mode.

It was cool for the first 30 minutes, I passed it twice and I got simply bored of it.

It's not near as bad as I expected it to be... It is rather easy and gets redundant, but I like it. Beat the story mode as DC, now I need to do is as MK.

i found MK deception was way too slow. i just didnt play it as i preferred the older MK games. my brother played the story mode which looked okay.

not sure what happened with fatlaities, the only one i could do was with milena (except it wasnt a fatality, it was called something else). (milena stabs herself in the head with both her daggers.)

I only play with MK characters. I don't have an urge to play with the DC people. At the end of it all, it should have been a MK game

^Same here. Only played the MK characters, my bf only played the DC characters. It's an okay game. It doesn't have much replay value though.
