me being from chicago, its nice to hear something nice come out of my town... i mean common is straight, but between kanye just being annoying and r. kelly's golden shower escapades and child-porn infatuation.. i got sick of chicago... then i heard the molemen's productions for mainly chicago natives.... and all of a sudden vakill and rhymefest bring chicago back to light...


i dunno if anyone's heard of them... i'd post some links, but given that im getting banned the way a fly is being swatted and killed, im not gonna post retail and break any rules..

Rhymefest bores me and Vakill's rhymes are only interesting for about 15 minutes till you realize it's just hard attempts at punchlines.

As for Juice, I loved his "All Bets are Off" album, Tip of the Iceberg was a bit gloomy and boring for me. I don't know what else came out. Dope rapper though, I like his voice a lot.

Last album I got of theirs is Killing Fields, which is tight. I think I'm up to date, someone see if there are any tapes or anything that has come out after that, I'm lazy.

Molemens dope. Love their production. And their emcees are ill too. Vakill is one of my favorites artists out right now. But they got other emcees that are ill too (ie Rhymefest) dudes album 'For My People' is dope as hell. Chicago's got ill hip hop, dont forget Twista and Do or Die, along with a heavy Underground movement.

As far as rhymefest is concerned, i like his freestyle battles more than his actual music. Juice is dope, no complaints there
