People didn't need to know how to read to know those stories, they could be passed down by word of mouth just like many stories were.

Probably because these stories were widely known and told at that time. A lot of people were illiterate back then, it doesn't mean they were ignorant about christianity and judaism.

Can someone clarify for me something I am confused about. Some people say the Quran was written 500 years before Jesus and some people say it was written 500 years AFTER Jesus. Can someone tell me exactally when it came about please?

Ok how do people think Jesus was a Muslim? I thought jesus was a Jew so how come people think he was Muslim? I was told Muslims are waiting for the next coming of Christ just like Christians are so that (becasue Jesus was a jew) Muslims can read him the Qu'ran and show him the right way and the right path to the after life. Others say that he already was a muslim.
So what do muslims believe about his second coming? Are they waiting for him to come back like Christians or are they not and do they really think he already was muslim or not? Then if he was or wasn't are they waiting for him to come back so they can show him the Qu'ran and show him the right path to the afterlife?

Oh I have no idea. I was always just taught he was a Jew. They never specified if it was because of his ethnicity or just religion. Well at least not to me they didn't.
