@masta, hope opera mini works good. the original was decent back when we had it in school on linux. our school was all over the local papers because it was the only one to switch from microsoft to linux and went open source to the dismay of almost all the students. even i myself, didnt like the change at first but grew to like it. the computers were super fast all of a sudden and this is how i came to know firefox known as mozilla back then, opera, gimp, and openoffice amongst other applications.

also, just to add. ive tried using streethop using the default browser and steel on my G1, i hope opera mini does an excellent job. my third mobile web browser in as many months. what next? open sourced mobile internet explorer? LOL.

I think there's a version exclusively for Androids.

It works good enough even on my old school Sony Ericsson K800i.
Anyway seeing it work on HTC pro I thought that it's the ultimate mobile browser.

Opera Mini on Android isn't too bad IMO. I use it sometimes. I find Steel is the best browser on Android right now though.

I don't know about the rest of you but I talk to my friends and family on the phone 99% of the time, and while they have moments of stupidity, I don't consider them retards.
