LeBrick shitted on the whole state of Ohio in the last game so hardly LeBrick. Dude had 24 points in the third quarter, Cavs had 25. This was done with a smile on his face. LeBron is a competitor regardless of him choosing not go at a championship solo.

What was inspirational was simply MJ's words. Growing up just near United Center and watching "the shot" in 98...I miss the bastard.

No, I understand what he did. I just don't get why people are so mad about it. He wants to win championships, you have a better chance with better players, good for him. I'd rather have medals than be that player who stayed loyal and didn't get the rewards his talent deserved. see Alan Shearer (minus his Blackburn title).

You gotta be cut-throat and really just worry about yourself in today's world. I have no problem in what he did. His antics really get tiring, though. For someone who hasn't won it all yet, he speaks louder than Kobe and Duncan combined. Even Shaq doesn't do that shit. Is it just a result of him being young while the others are older (by age)? Is it something he'll learn throughout the years? Because he's almost a veteran by years played in the NBA. He should know better by now.

Cleveland is just a shit city in terms of sports. They lost the Browns. The Indians haven't been good in a while. Ever. They thought bringing LeBron back to Cleveland, where he grew up near, was going to be the one that puts the city on the map. And he did by getting them to the post season several times. But he didn't win it. And the fans thought he was going to be the Chipper Jones of basketball and stick with the team thick and thin. He didn't.

So what? Every interview I see with any player, whether it's beginning of the season, middle of the season, or end of the season, one thing that stays constant is that the ultimate dream is the NBA Championship. I never heard Kobe say, "Hey, my goal this year is to gain the respect of my peers". No, it's a motherfucking ring. Fuck what people say.

Respect comes with winning championships.

He made promises. He entered the league saying "Call me King James.". He said that he will bring a title to Cleveland... He didn't deliver anything. Then he left.
 
Yeah but you have to be retarded to believe what athletes say about the club or organisation they are with. One week they're kissing the badge, the next they are terminating their contract. He was there for what 7 years? 7 years is enough time to try and win the championship, he failed to bring it to Cleveland, but if your supporting cast sucks, then move on.

I understand his attitude is retarded though, I'm not a big fan of how he actually left but I don't see it as taking the easy way out, I see it as simply wanting to win championships, but it's not like he will be going through the motions and they will automatically win it, he still has to use his talent.
 
Lebron doesnt win in the playoffs hes retro active after Cleveland got swept in the Finals by the Spurs just like Kobe was when he was bounced in the first round and didnt make the playoffs a few years in L.a. after Shaq

its not necesarrily a knock its just people see the hype & take championships for granted
alot of good players in NBA history never won shit

Cleveland Cav's had like the best record in basketball two or three years running MVP two years 2010 they were the favorites ,, then they lose and suddenly the team, the coach werent good enough and they want to piece together a championship team in one summer in another city

People keep saying 7 years like thats a careers worth of seasons or something. He started out in the NBA out of High School, right there he already lost a couple of years that most guys spend in College. For example MJ (we love the comparisons) drafted in '84 didn't win a championship until '91. That's 7 years. Lebron is what 26 that is not even close to the beginning of the end of his career. He got scared and took the easier option. A team doesn't win the most regular season games and have no hope of winning championships, he just didn't have the heart. Simple.

I'm glad he left otherwise if he won a championship in Cleveland I'd have to respect him. If he wins in Miami I don't. Not that he gives a shit but you know..

I'm sorry but he had a pretty good supporting cast. Especially when they decided to bring Jamison at the trade deadline.

It's not that people believed him, it's the way he acted... I promise, I promise, I will do my best, I will never leave this city and so on and so on. It's okay to say it once, people won't necessarily believe it, they will see it as a polite way to say that he will not leave. He was doing those promises for 7 years, then went on freaking ESPN to announce The Decision that he was going to leave for Miami (which is the worst fucking place in the NBA, there was empty seats when they won the finals and there still is some today) with Chris Bosh (another douchebag) and DWade (nothing bad to say about him).

Is Shaq a big miss though? I think he had career lows at Cleveland but he must be pushing 40 so yeah..
I'm not sure if he's a starter for Boston as the regular season doesn't really excite me so I have no idea.

I would've wanted Iverson to join a star studded team just to win a Championship (lol denver) rather than fail season after season with Philly.
