Film & TV metal gear solid vs splinter cell

Which game is a better all around game , metal gear or splinter cell? I was playing snake eater and thinking this is the greatest most detailed military game i've ever played..in my opinion splinter cell is weak in comparison..what ya'll think?

Barely played Splinter Cell, only played the first MGS, but goddamn, that was one helluva game. Still one of the best gaming experiences I've had. The story, the sideplots, the atmosphere, the bossfights.

I've only played the 1st Splinter Cell like 5 years ago, but Ive kept up with the MG series since it 1st came out in the late 80's.. But anyways, MG over Splinter Cell anyday... Snake is the man..
