i don't know how to answer? look at the bottom of the first page. that is the answer as detailed and correct as it gets - your voice uses a high-pitched frequency which is more exhausting to our ears and male's voices uses lower-pitched frequencies which is more soothing to our ears, as well as to yours. that is what the article states. iq is not involved.

But everybody starts out as a woman in the very early development stages THEN things change & some become men.

And a masterpiece must be a rough draft at some point & thus, if women are masterpieces & men are rough drafts, then women must've progressed from men.....but they didn't so it can't be so.

let's break it down once and for all. this is logic, and has nothing to do with the eye of the beholder. are you familiar with the word friction? you know how old, rugged asphalt tears your tires more than newly-laid asphalt? rugged asphalt causes more friction. this is a fair comparison to the female voice and the male voice. don't flatter yourself by scientists saying your voice has a higher natural "melody" in it. that doesn't mean your voice is musical. i can flap my dick and slap it between my thighs to make music, that doesnt' make it beautiful.

the comparisons hav more to do wit the topic than men bein rough drafts and women bein the masterpiece.

this topic is simple, women voices r more complex and harder to understand, not because men r stupid, but because our voices r less complex and r easier to hear, so we r used to listenin to our voices. Its a very simple consept.

in defense of my comparison i would like to say that it really has a lot to do with the topic - it's about how one thing tears more down on something than another. in this case, your voice is more painful to listen to than ours because the mind and ears have to work harder to process the frequencies in that they are higher.
