I was just wondering, was the solo version OG of Me and My Closest Row Dawg ever released? Ya know, the remixed one on UTTEOT? Its a fucking hot track.. Always wanted to hear Pacs last 2 verses on the UTTEOT version with the OG instrumental... If someone has it could you post the link?? Thanks!
 
I was wonderin too. But i always thought that those 2 extra verses are from totally different song coz they kinda dont fit. Plus i dont like that in uteot version they cut Pacs original second verse that i really love mostly in this whole song.
 
I don't like My Closest Roadogz on UTEOT, so I never listened to tha song after tha 1st verse. I assumed that tha last 2 verses weren't Pac, but as I just found out, tha last 2 verses are verses I've never heard before :cool:.

They mean, try and take tha 1st verse from tha OG, tha 2nd and 3rd verses from tha UTEOT version, and combining them all with tha OG beat on it.

I thinks Its supposed to be "Row Dawgs" (as in Death Row), but after Pac died and Master P basically stole his style/image/formula, No Limit cats startin using the term "Road dawgs".. which i guess became like the norm term down south for "your boyz".. So maybe Amaru thought thats what Pac meant...i could be wrong though..

Oh I C.. Thanks for bearing with me... Im a week old here so I can still try to use the "new guy" excuse... LOL
 
I dont think the UTEOT version is that bad.. Not as good as the OG of course.. I like the OG cause it has that "evil, hopeless, kinda sinister" feel to it... The lyrics on the UTEOT version are hot thought for Pac's last 2 verses... talking about "2 hired guns bustin every1, yellin "everybody die""... lol
 
Ok ok the chorus is pretty lame.. lol Its not the worst remix track on UTEOT though I dont think.. I HATE U Dont Have 2 Worry... I cant even listen to it.. That stupid piano or whatever it is in the backround annoys the shit out of... The OG's hot, but not that one.... Oh yea, Until the End Of Time I cant listen to either... I always used to play the OG one, then when that came out i was like "Yo, WTF"??? Of course I been sayin "WTF" since Still I Rise came out... I didnt know Still I Rise was gonna be remixed so when I bought it mad long ago and popped it in my cd player, again, i was like "WTF"...lol
